Meet Matt
While working in software development for many years, Matt became passionate about the idea of helping humans connect to a more divine purpose. When he moved to Vancouver in January 2020, he started Shamanism training and knew his path had finally been illuminated. Matt quickly bonded with his group over the desire to work with like-minded individuals, and soon after, Antlered Serpent was born.
He now has the pleasure of working with aspiring beings, from all walks of life, all over the world.

Notes on Shamanic Healing Ceremonies:
As taught to me by my teacher, the intention of shamanic healing is to restore power and connection. Along the road of life it is possible to feel disconnected from this inner power and can manifest in a few ways of ones life, for example: bad luck, addiction, illness, or unhappiness, etc. The name of this process is known as Soul Loss. Shamanic healing involves retrieving these lost connections, and therefore restoring an individual’s power.
Each individual is different, therefore different ceremonies are needed for different purposes, and at different times in ones life. My practice is to tailor the ceremonies for each client. If you’re eager to learn about different techniques within shamanism there are many authors whom are very eloquent and go into far more detail than I can be, within this website. Namely books by Michael Harner, and Sandra Ingerman, both teachers of my teacher, Daniel Leonard.
Along with people, ceremonies can also be performed on the land, such as homes, or bodies of water. They can similarly be performed on pets, and even objects. Ceremonies can be performed in-person, as well as through zoom.
I perform my ceremonies with the use of rhythmic instruments. I am not a plant medicine practitioner.

Shamanic Healing ceremonies are not a replacement for medical treatment or psychiatric care. They are subtle and powerful practices, and while their effects can be profound, they should be combined with regular medical treatment for physical ailments.
Sobriety
Both clients and myself are expected to be sober for 3 days prior to ceremony. This includes any mind altering substance/plant,
yes that means cannabis.
Prescription medication is the only exception.
Behaviour
Clients are expected to maintain a respectful attitude during ceremony. Comedy is certainly welcome, but harsh and/or abusive language will not be tolerated.
Payment
All the ceremonies that I offer, come at the minimum suggested donation of $120 insuring reciprocity and commitment to the energy exchanged. If financial constraints are a concern, or if you feel called to honour the work in a different way, please feel free to inquire for other options.
If you are First Nations to the land I am working on, you are more than welcome to provide an offering that is traditional to you as your act of reciprocity.
